Early Bird Tree Tagging date for 2021 is Sun. Nov. 21 from 2 p.m.- 6 p.m. Trees from the field and pre-cut tent will also be able to be taken home at this time as well.
Our Operation Evergreen tree selection ceremony is 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 14. Area veterans are invited to come and select Christmas trees from the farm to cut for the program to send to troops stationed overseas. Local elementary students, high school students and community groups also visit the farm to present the ornaments they have made to the veterans. The trees and ornaments then go from the farm to the Ohio Department of Agriculture where they are inspected and shipped to U.S. troops stationed around the world.
Then we officially open for the season the day after Thanksgiving on Green Friday Nov. 26 from 10-6.
Season hours from Nov. 27 through Dec. 18 are:
- Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Thursdays and Fridays 4-6 p.m.
- Saturdays 10-6 p.m.
- Sundays 2-6 p.m.
The last day the farm will be open regular hours is Saturday, Dec. 18
when hours will be 10-4 p.m.
Even when it is busy on the farm, please wait for a staff member to assist with tagging/selecting/cutting a tree to make sure your tree is cared for properly. Get your fresh cut tree into water fairly quickly to extend its needle retention and fresh quality for as long as possible.
